Jump to Recipe

This is one of those recipes that no matter what event or party you bring it to, SOMEONE will always ask for the recipe. The best part about it is that while it may look fancy, it is actually very easy to make! It’s also not one of those good looking desserts that look so good they don’t actually taste that great… it’s pretty AND tastes even better!

Ingredients

Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough – While I’m sure you could make your own cookie dough for this Memorial Day Fruit Pizza Recipe, I like the convenience of using store bought sugar cookie dough. It saves time and the mess of cleaning up extra dishes, and it tastes amazing either way.
Cool Whip
Cream Cheese – Any 8 oz block of cream cheese will work just fine for this recipe
Sugar
Raspberries – you could also use sliced strawberries
Blueberries

How to Make Fourth of July Fruit Pizza

  1. You’ll start off by slicing your sugar cookie dough log into 1/4 inch pieces and press those down onto a lightly greased 12 inch pizza pan.
  2. Bake the cookie crust for 10-12 minutes (until lightly browned). Set aside to cool.
  3. Mix together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Fold in the Cool Whip until well combined.
  4. Add half of the Cool Whip mixture onto the cookie crust and spread evenly over entire crust.
  5. Create a border using blueberries around the crust. Add blue corner of the flag using blueberries also.
  6. Use raspberries (or strawberries) to create evenly spaced stripes.
  7. Using the remaining Cool Whip mixture, pipe in between berries to create white stripes.
  8. Slice and enjoy!
