Low Carb Taco Pie

This recipe uses just 5 simple ingredients and is guaranteed to be a hit with the whole family! This taco pie turns out very similar to a crustless quiche. We have been making this recipe for years, and we love to switch it up with different add ins and toppings. Ingredients
  

  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 tbsp taco seasoning sugar free or DIY recipe
  • 2/3 cup half & half
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350F degrees
  • Add ground beef to skillet over medium heat and cook until cooked/brown. Drain
  • Add taco seasoning to ground beef and stir until well coated
  • Add ground beef to a greased pie pan
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs and half & half. Add salt & pepper to taste
  • Pour egg mixture over the top of the ground beef in the pie pan.
  • Top with the shredded cheddar cheese
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is fully cooked and the top is golden brown
  • Let the low carb taco pie cool for 5 minutes
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, pico de gallo, avocado, cilantro
