Unfortunately, living up north, that isn’t something we have the ability to do all year-round so we have to improvise! And let me tell you… these S’mores Krispie Treat Bars might actually be better than the real thing. Anytime I make a batch of these, they are gone in less than 24 hours. All of the wonderful s’mores flavors you love, but right in your kitchen with no baking needed.
These S’mores Bars are super easy to make and take less than 15-20 minutes to make! You will start by adding 6 cups of golden grahams into a large mixing bowl and set that aside. Melt the half stick of butter in a large stock pot or dutch oven over medium-low heat. Once the butter is melted, add in an entire 10 oz bag of mini marshmallows and stir stir stir! Once the marshmallows are fully melted and you have a thick, buttery marshmallow liquid, pour into the bowl of golden grahams and mix until well coated. Press into a 9×13 baking dish, top immediately with Hershey pieces (or chocolate chips) an enjoy!
You can store leftovers (if there are any) at room temperature in a Ziploc bag or airtight, covered container.
